July 2017 Portcullis House, Parliament. Tim Loughton MP, Tibetan Parliamentarian Mingyur Dorjee and Chris Law MP. Mingyur Dorjee, a senior member of Tibetan Parliament in Exile, who was formerly Cabinet Secretary (Kadrung) and Representative of His Holiness the Dalai Lama in Europe and South Africa, gave an update on the situation in Tibet. Mingyur expressed his appreciation for the work of the APPG and the Tibet Society in supporting the Tibetan cause and very much encourages the idea of a visit of MPs to Dharmsala.
